Terms of use

Updated: 4 octobre 2026

Draft — this document has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer.

Use of KosherFly is subject to these terms. By using the site you agree to them.

What the site does

KosherFly is a flight search and comparison site. We show flights and prices from outside sources (such as Google Flights and Aviasales), and filter out flights that take off or land on Shabbat or Yom Tov.

We don't sell flight tickets or take payment for flights. You book and pay on the airline's or booking site's own site, under their terms.

Commissions (disclosure)

Some links on the site are affiliate links. When you book through them (for example on Aviasales or Kiwi.com, or file a compensation claim with AirHelp), we may receive a commission from that company — at no extra cost to you.

Airlines and sites in "Choose who to book with" are listed by price, not by commission.

Prices

Prices are those received from our sources at the time of the search and may change. The final price, bags, seats and conditions are shown on the seller's site before you pay, and those apply.

Prices on the Cheap flights page come from searches over the last day or two and are a guide only.

Shabbat and Yom Tov

The site hides flights that take off or land on Shabbat or Yom Tov, using the times at each airport. The calculations are made carefully, but travellers are responsible for checking the times (including connections) and consulting a Rav as needed.

Flight compensation

Compensation claims are handled by AirHelp under its own terms and fees. KosherFly is not a party to the claim.

Hotel bookings

  • Hotels, apartments and guesthouses are booked and paid for on KosherFly through our booking partner LiteAPI (Nuitée), which charges your card and passes the booking to the hotel. Your card statement will show LiteAPI · KOSHERFLY.
  • The price shown is the final price charged now, in US dollars, for all nights and rooms. Local taxes the hotel collects at the property (such as city tax) are shown separately before you pay.
  • Cancellation: until the time shown on your booking it is free and the full amount goes back to your card. After it, or for a "non-refundable" room, the hotel's cancellation terms apply. You cancel yourself with the link in your confirmation email.
  • Walking times to shul, Chabad houses and kosher places come from OpenStreetMap data and are a guide only — please check before Shabbat. The hotel's own food is not kosher unless the hotel says so.
  • The hotel is responsible for its service, rooms and facilities. Special requests are passed on to the hotel and are not guaranteed.

Liability

Information on the site comes from airlines and outside providers. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for the booking, the flight, or changes, delays or cancellations — these are the seller's and the airline's responsibility.

Travellers are responsible for a valid passport, visas and entry requirements.

Law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the competent courts in Israel have jurisdiction.
